There was an abundance amount of technology at this year’s CES show, but definitely nothing more eye opening than “Myris”. This new innovative biometric technology from Eyelock, who is partnering with VOXX Electronics, will change the way we see identity security forever.
Meet “Myris’. It is the first ever consumer facing device featuring Eyelock’s patented iris identity authentication technology. It uses patented technology to convert your iris pattern to a code unique only to you. It grants access to your PC’s, e-commerce sites, applications and data in less than one second, all by taking a video scan of your iris.
The circular device that fits in your hand plugs into a USB, set ups and links your accounts that you would like to secure. For consumers, it could be computer login, online banking, e-mail access, social media, password management, and applications. For enterprise, it could be used for computer login, bank tellers, opening accounts, money transfers, data centers, server racks…etc.
In today’s global world, where hackers just recently have broken in some of America’s biggest retail data bases, such as Target and Neiman Marcus, affecting millions of customers sensitive personal information, “Myris” couldn’t have come at a better time. The chances are 1 in 2 trillion for a false match. Only DNA is more accurate than Iris Identity Authentication.
No more reasons to remember passwords and usernames.

Here’s looking at you, kid.
